Our Junior Program was a great success last year.  We had huge turnouts for all of our activities and anticipate 2009 will be just as busy & fun!  

This summer we have a lot of volunteers returning to run our programs:  Steve Jackson & Sue Broden are returning as Junior Captains, Marina Chambers will coordinate lessons, and Marc Barbeau will teach our juniors. Lessons run from July 6th through August 10th.  You can contact Marc at 450-226-2273 if you want to book lessons for yourself.  Dianne Burke will be running Crafts Night, but we still need someone to coordinate Sports Night.  Please let me know if you’re interested in helping out! Family Sports Day returns again this year on Sunday July 5th. Randy Best is running this event & there will be races, games, food and prizes.  Movie Nights have been a great success, so David Glickman and Mitch Azaria will be holding six movie nights this summer on Thursday nights.  Karen Gordon and Diane Burke will be running Junior Field Day on July 21st and Talent Night will be July 26th this year.  As always, big thanks to Chico Kitela, Beatrice Glickman, Dianne Vanstone and Carolyn Irwin for a great Talent Night last year.

Since the Movie Nights were such a success, we took some of the Percy Fund last summer and bought a new projector and sound system for the Juniors. There are still funds remaining in the Fund and I welcome any ideas you have that you think the juniors would enjoy.  Please feel free to forward your ideas (or your junior’s ideas) to me.  

Please take the time to fill out the sheet attached to the Junior Registration forms, indicating which activities you can help with as well as your dates of availability.  You can also contact each of the coordinators directly.
