Weekly Bulletin - Wednesday July 18, 2018
The Ladies Invitational was a sold-out success last week! A big thank you to Careen Latt and her large committee of volunteers who worked so hard to make the Invitational special. You did a superb job. Thank you Dianne Vanstone and Diane Glionna for arranging our Vegas-style golf tournament and to the DCC grounds crew for transporting our golf bags to the various tees.

Match and Handicap
What a great week of golf. Even with the lack of rain our greens remain outstanding. Seeing Rhys watering the greens and tees puts a big smile on my face. Thanks guys, for being so dedicated and committed to the course. The results speak for themselves.
Men's Mustache Cup
Congratulations to Peter Wright shooting a lights out net 65 for the win and congrats to Duncan Campbell who shot a solid net 69 for runner up!
The Markham Cup has entered the 3rd round and the Men's Best Ball is well into the second round.
We still have lots of golf to play so please keep informed as to who to play and by what date. You can check for updates at the Starter Shack or online with the links above.
Please be mindful that slower groups of golfers, whether in a tournament or just having a fun round, must allow the faster players to play through. A foursome should take approximately 2 3/4 hours to play a round. This will greatly improve our times and make for happy golfers. Click Here to read a great article on speed of play.
Don't forget to sign up for the Mike Roy Tournament this Friday July 20. Tee off is at 3:30 p.m. and the tees will close at 1 p.m. The round will be followed by a lovely dinner in the clubhouse. This is a wonderful tournament organized as a tribute to one of our greatest golfers. Please join us this Friday.
Have a great week golfing and I'll see you on the tee.

We are looking for volunteers to make delicious hors d’oeuvres, help with flowers and assist with ticket sales. We are also planning a small silent auction at the event. Please contact Maureen Dubiel firstname.lastname@example.org
The quilt is progressing and volunteers are now needed to hand sew the sashing. Come by yourself or bring a friend. Sew a little or sew a lot - every stitch gets us closer to our finished quilt! Please contact - Jean Sutherland Towell - 450 562 5668
